Other Patient Services & Accommodations
At Tri Valley Health System, we strive to always provide healthcare of the highest quality mixed with outstanding customer service. Our state-of-the-art facility also provides features that provide comfort and serenity during your stay.
Cambridge Memorial Hospital’s Patient Wing is designed to offer a pleasant healing environment with spacious rooms and soothing colors as well as the following items:
Quieter, More Efficient Nurse Call System
The new nurse call system sends alerts and patient calls directly to nurse cell phones eliminating the noise of a traditional alarm. For example, if a patient’s vitals become low, an alarm will be sent to the mobile phones carried by the nurses. Also, if a patient presses the call button they will be able to immediately speak to a nurse regarding their request allowing the nurse to fulfill it more efficiently.
Stryker Patient Beds
The new beds work with the nurse call proving alerts if a patient’s weight is taken off the bed (this is called a fall alert) or if the beds settings for an individual patient are adjusted and not corrected. For instance, if both side rails are to be up and one is left down the bed will sent out an alert.
Free Wireless Internet
We offer free wireless internet for both patients and visitors. Getting connected is easy, just ask one of our team members to assist you.
Family and friends can call directly to your room by dialing 308-697- and then the four digit extension noted on your in room telephone, or we can get your called transferred to them by calling 308-697-3329.
If family will be traveling to visit you and require accommodations, Tri Valley Health System does offer affordable stays at a guest room in our Heritage Plaza Retirement Village located a block and a half from the hospital. To inquire about availability please contact us at 308-697-3329 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Patient and Guest Meals
Tri Valley Nutrition Services will deliver wholesome, nourishing and well-balanced meals prepared according to your medical provider’s orders. If you have visitors during meal times they are welcome to eat here at no additional cost. If you’d like, we can have a tray sent to your room, just let our nursing staff know ahead of time.
The Cornerstone dining area is also available for guest meals and features a Grab and Go cooler for sandwiches, salads and snacks. The Grab and Go is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.; the Cornerstone dining is available for breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and for lunch 11:00 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.
Visitors are welcome at Tri Valley Health System whenever the visits will benefit the patient. We encourage visitors of all ages. We believe family involvement in patient care provides the best healing experience. We do ask, however, that for consideration for all patients, your visitors limit the length of their stay and the noise level. If your visitors are suffering from a cold or the flu, ask them to call you on the phone in your room and have them wait to visit until they are feeling better. Tri Valley Health System will respect your right to limit visits accordingly.
For the safety of all patients and our staff the entrances to Cambridge Memorial Hospital are locked overnight. The night entrance by the Physical Therapy Department does have a call button to alert nurses when someone is at the door and would like to come in. Please understand that you, your family or your healthcare provider may request restriction of visitors, mail, phone calls or other communication.
If you receive mail during your stay, our staff will deliver mail each morning Monday through Saturday. Please tell anyone who may be sending you mail to address it to your attention at:
