The services of the lab include blood draws for complete blood counts and lipid profiles for cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL and glucose. The lab also provides transfusion services 24-hours a day. Tri Valley Health System is now offering discount lab draws called direct access testing every day of the week. Direct Access Testing allows individuals to request select lab tests and receive results without a provider’s orders or insurance involvement which allows us to offer the labs at a discounted price. We will not bill insurance or Medicare for these tests so payment must be made at the time of testing. Testing is available in Cambridge Monday-Friday 8am-3pm, in Arapahoe on the first and third Wednesday at the Tri Valley Health System Rehab Building from 8am-10am, and the fourth Wednesday at the St. Catherine’s Parish Hall in Indianola from 8am-10am. No appointment is necessary for the testing. Simply come in during open times and check in with the registration desks and ask for Direct Access Testing. You will receive your results in the mail and results will be uploaded to your patient portal. We strongly recommend that you discuss your results with your provider as they will not receive a copy of your results.
