Tri Valley Health System’s Method of Allergy Testing and Treatment

There are several methods of allergy testing and treatment, at Tri Valley Health System, the Skin-End Point Titration and/or RAST technique is utilized for allergy testing as it affords a number of advantages.
Titration identifies the exact level of allergy the offending substance is being tested for.  Then we are able to make treatment vials, or drops especially tailored for you according to these levels.  The treatment vials/drops are the solutions that you will be treated with and the liquid is made from the solutions utilized during your test.
Since we know your levels of allergy to these substances, treatment sets are based on that same information, we will give you graduated increasing doses of the antigens until eventual control of your allergy symptoms is achieved.

Early diagnosis and treatment are important. If an allergy is detected early and properly treated, the condition may improve, be kept under control and reduce the possibility of more serious future complications.
Dr. Lennie Deaver and Kyleen Klinkebiel, PA-C, along with Carri Hall LPN, received Allergy training from renowned Allergist and Immunologist, Dr. John H. Boyles, Jr. in Dayton, Ohio.
Dr. Deaver is also a member of the Pan American Allergy Society.
