Social Services
Each day usually presents itself with a new
experience in the Social Service Department.
The Primary function of Social Services is to assist in planning
a safe and effective discharge for all of the patients that come through Cambridge Memorial
Hospital. Social Services
also coordinate several other services to help hospital and community
members.
Many times, a fractured hip or any other post
surgery procedure can put a patient in a tough situation leaving them
few resources to rely on.
Social Services can arrange for patients to return close to home and
take advantage of our skilled swing bed hospital stay for continued
rehab while they finish their recovery.
Tri Valley Health System has
two Certified Social Workers on staff, Ann Sund and
Katie Andrews. Cambridge Manor has a Certified
Social Services Designate, Charity Carbaugh. All
three of these highly trained staff members are
available to answer questions or obtain information
on:
