LABORATORY DIRECTOR; Job # 230-1
FT position; Directs the budgetary, purchasing, staffing and related aspects of laboratory work. Supervises professional and technical laboratory personnel. Directs quality control program to ensure high quality diagnostic testing and all laboratory activities comply with organization and regulatory agency standards. Bachelor’s Degree in a chemical, physical, or biological science or medical technology from an accredited institution required. Three to five years laboratory equivalent experience required. FT night shift position, (6pm-6am): Provides direct and indirect patient care in the medical-surgical, OB, post-partum, nursery, outpatient, and Emergency Department setting. Communicates with providers/leadership team/other departments/co-workers, as appropriate about changes in patient's clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Must be able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision. SURGERY RN, Job # 215-3
FT Day position; Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. May advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management. Provides direct patient care to individuals in the pre-surgical, operative and recovery periods. Performs a variety of duties in an operating room to assist the surgical team before, during and after surgical intervention including arranging sterile set up for operation. May assist the surgeon by handing over sterile instruments or other materials, adjusting equipment, and monitoring the patient’s condition. PERIOPERATIVE SERVICES DIRECTOR; Job # 215-1
FT position; To provide direct clinical coordination and expertise, ensuring a safe, effective practice environment, which supports the management of acute patient flow in the Perioperative Department. Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Nebraska required. BSN in nursing or working towards the same preferred. Significant clinical experience in a Perioperative department required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) validation required.
